KANZI® apple & cheddar rolls recipe

INGREDIENTS
- 2 KANZI® apples
- 2 sprigs of fresh rosemary
- 1 red onion
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 roll of fresh puff pastry (270 g)*
- 150 g grated cheddar
- *may be replaced with fresh pizza dough
INSTRUCTIONS
- Finely chop the onion. Remove the needles from the sprigs of rosemary and chop them finely.
- Chop the KANZI® apples into very small ½ cm pieces.
- Heat the butter in a frying pan and fry the onion for 3 minutes. Add the apple and rosemary and cook for a few more minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper and arrange on a plate. Leave to cool for 30 minutes.
- Arrange the baking paper on a work surface and roll out the pastry on top. Top with the apple mixture and sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Roll the puff pastry tightly, creating a thick filled roll, and wrap in the baking paper. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes.
- Heat the oven to 180°C. Remove the puff pastry from the freezer and chop into slices of about 1.5 cm. Arrange them with 2 cm in between on a baking tray covered with baking paper.
- Bake the apple & cheddar rolls for 20 minutes in the centre of the oven until golden.
