Tru-Cape cherries now available in stores.

For a short summer season cherries, the most festive of fruits, is available from Tru-Cape Fruit Marketing, the largest marketer of South African apples and pears.

Currently in selected stores, these ruby-coloured gems add a punch of tartly sweet flavour to trifles, cherry pies and as a sauce with turkey or gammon but they are also best enjoyed fresh or with a dollop of cream.

It is not for nothing that we refer to the ultimate treat as The Cherry on the Top.
